Principled Pampering
Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
(Matthew 6:30-33)

When God has blessed you with an excess of substance, do not just hoard it; share it with others. This will be possible once you have gone beyond required self-preservation, to the place in life that Jesus Christ described, while answering a concern of one of his disciples.
Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.
(Mark 10:28-31)
When we reach, or exceed, the place in life at which we have an hundredfold now in this time, we should act as king Solomon did. When you are able to share with others, do so. Maybe even, you, too, will be able to match this charitable feat of the king.
And the king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD. And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the LORD, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the LORD.
The same day did the king hallow the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD for there he offered burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings: because the brazen altar that was before the LORD was too little to receive the burnt offerings, and meat offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings.
And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days. On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
(1 Kings 8:62-66)
We may not be able to show you how to go quite that far, but we will show you where you can find some of the delicacies in life, to share with others (and for your self, too). Additionally, you should not be stingy about providing for the enrichment of the lives of those non-human creatures; so, we have included information that will inspire you to do that, as well. This is in keeping with a statement recorded in the Old Testament of the Bible, as being one that came from a Most High source.
Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
(Deuteronomy 25:4)
A New Testament writer explained the above Scripture, further. In that case, an extension of the meaning was applied, to lets us know that in the service of God, when we have handled our calling in life properly, and solidified our place in the world, then, we, too, will be able to partake of the delicacies that have been provided for mankind.
Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord. Mine answer to them that do examine me is this, Have we not power to eat and to drink? Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working?
Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? Or saith he it altogether for our sakes?
For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.
(1 Corinthians 9:1-12)
When God releases prosperity to us, and we use a portion to avail our self, as well as others that are placed in our charge, of the delicacies of others--merchants, artisans, and others--we are also participating in the sharing of the wealth that has been provided to us by the LORD God. This is particularly true when we can find ways to employ and engage the poor of the land, providing them with a portion of the entirety of what they need to survive. As pertains to this outreach of the prosperous ones, Scripture is specific on the matter.
If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
(Deuteronomy 15:7-11)
Listed below are some places where you can find delicacies that will allow you to support some of the other places of need. These places are either directly in the vendors own household, or, by the extension from their household, in the families of others. By doing so, there is a possibility that we will become a participant in a cascade of benevolence.
Please note the following: we provide these places with the following limitation: on the matter of charitable contributions, we will leave that to the personal relationship that you have established with God. However, you might find some places listed that will facilitate this type of outreach, as well.
