One of the most difficult challenges we face, is staying fit. Of course, there are a few other things that also challenge us; such as, financial security, lifestyle sculpting, as well as our moral compass; but these others, are challenges that are as such primarily because of the interaction of many uncontrollable outside forces. Our physical well-being, in general, is a challenge that we can isolate from outside forces, to a greater degree. We have a great opportunity, therefore, to form fitness habits; ones that are self-sustaining, and that are subject to our control. Nevertheless, it is up to us to choose to exercise those chosen means of control.

There are, of course, some interruptions that the joint--shall we call them--interferences, of genetics and illness, will bring to bear on our fitness goals and habits, but these, too, have some control points that allow us to regulate them by the patterns that we form. The advance of science has opened many doors to secrets of control in the shaping of a healthy lifestyle. Many of these revealed secrets provide us with key tools that we can mobilize in response to genetic variations, as well as to offset unforeseen illness. (The chronic kinds of illnesses are controllable, too.)

The strongest tool that we use in moving to, in, and through healthy practices, is our mind. When we activate our mind to deal with the matter of our healthy choices for physical well-being, we will be able to collect the tools that we need to build a good suite of personalized health habits. These tools are not ones that we need to invent; there are many fitness products, processes and procedures that are available to us. They are waiting for us to engage our mind in the quest.
